Wartune Maintenance To-Do-List

 TO-DO-LIST DURING
WARTUNE MAINTENANCE
  • It's best to have this done each time during Maintenance before you load your server when it becomes online.
  • When we first load Wartune, it loads and saves some data on your computer.
  • The reason that the next time you play, it loads faster, is because the data is now on your computer.
  • Game Problems usually occur when the data saved on your computer do not match the ones that Wartune loads when you log in.
  • This is the reason why you always hear them tell you to clear cache and cookies and other things that would affect your game experience.
  • The main idea is to clear everything up and make your computer a clean slate before you load new Wartune data from the maintenance or patch.
Here are some things that you can do during Maintenance, not just to get a good game experience but it also makes sure that your computer is maintained in a good condition:

1. Clearing Cache
You can Refer to the link below for the different browsers manual clearing of Cache and Cookies

However, if you want it easier, you can download a PC Cleaner that has the ability to clear them all in just a few clicks. See below on where to find one:

2. Ram Scrubbing
You can search the web for Ram scrubbing tools, personally, I use the one on the link below:

3. Defrag
Windows has it's own Defrag tool.
It's usually at All Programs > Accessories > System Tools
then look for Disk Deframenter
Note: This can take some time though to complete (more or less 30 minutes or up to an hour) as it removes fragmented files and arranges data on your computer.
This is important though to maintain your computer.

Windows Defrag tool can be really slow so I use Defraggler on the link below

4. Remove Unnecessary Programs on your Computer
You can Add or Remove programs under Windows Control Panel or you can use the PC Cleaner on the link below:

5. Clean Windows Registry
This is a critical part of your computer so don't mess with this if you not understand what you are doing.
To be safe, the PC Cleaner on the link below also has a Registry Cleaner.
Use that to avoid any issues on your computer.

6. Remove Unnecessary Start-up Programs
The reason why your PC is taking a lot of time opening up is because it's running almost all of your Programs during start up.
You can choose which programs you would like to start running when your computer by going to:
RUN > Type: msconfig
Go to the Start up Tab and uncheck those programs running when you start your computer

You can also use the PC Cleaner on the link below to easily change your start up programs

7. Restart your computer
This should refresh your computer and make it ready for the new data after Wartune Maintenance! :)

Again, it will be slow in the beginning as it will first start to download Wartune data on your computer.
However, the loading will get faster after it has the data on your computer.

To those who would like to know more on how to speed up their computer, you can check on the links below:

For more advanced users, this is what I would suggest,
Clean up the background processes that you do not use on your computer.
Here's a link on how to remove unnecessary background processes of your computer so your computer can focus on just what you are doing
